CHEMICAL BIDS

The Washington County Service Authority is seeking sealed bids for the supply chemicals for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009 with optional extensions for the following chemicals: Liquid Chlorine, Sodium Fluoride, Liquid Caustic Soda, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sulfur Dioxide, Sodium Thiosulfate, Sulfuric Acid, Orthopolyphosphate and Dechlorination Tablets, and 20% Sodium Permanganate (carusol). Specifications and bid forms may be obtained by contacting Karen Lester at 276-676-6799 or klester@wcsa-water.com. Bids will be accepted at the Authority's offices at 25122 Regal Drive, Abingdon, VA until 2:00 p.m. on August 1, 2008, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. The envelope containing the bid MUST be CLEARLY labeled CHEMICAL BID. WCSA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to accept the bid or bids which in its opinion will be in its best interest.
